Meet The Face Behind Opus Mechanical Contracting Ltd

I’m Mark Cacka, the proud owner of Opus Mechanical Contracting Ltd. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I got into the general contracting business after a friend referred me to his boss as a potential apprentice for plumbing.

After gaining twenty-seven years of experience in the plumbing and gas business and seven years covering all other aspects of the building industry, I saw an opportunity to start a versatile general construction company in my hometown. This led to the establishment of Opus Mechanical Contracting Ltd.

Much has changed since I first started in the construction industry. Product technology and research have come a long way in a short time, requiring us to spend many hours researching, training, and adapting to what is new and learning works and what doesn’t. Similarly, the plumbing and HVAC industry has become so much more site-specific requiring us to have more knowledge and expertise.

I am proud of the trust my customers have bestowed on us to provide a quality end product. As our name Opus suggests, we deliver completed work.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my integrity, honesty, hard work, and commitment to supporting our local community.

I attribute my success not to myself but to Christ. He has gifted me with a talent for building.

Seeing my clients enjoy their home that once started as a pencil sketch has indeed given me immense satisfaction over the years.

When I am not at work, I try to squeeze every possible free moment in with my family. Camping and biking are some of our recent activities. I also enjoy watching formula one racing.

I also believe in giving back to society and supporting various children’s ministries such as Watoto, World Vision, International Christian Concern (ICC), and our local community church.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
